Default Looking for some good skills tp use in conjuction with icy veins.

Ive been eying this for a while and I just got around to capping it today from that bug in the kurzick place.

Now im really liking the look of this but Im completely drawing a blank on what other skills I should use to run it in a PvE build.

Some Ideas would be nice.

things that kill stuff fast so that icy can trigger more often. icy is a good mm elite. fiends will make it trigger often causing damage balls.

bone minions + veratas aura + Derv Disenchant...+ Icy Veins = mass walking bombs >_<...if they arent attacking you ...


listen to what the person above me said... Icy Veins is somewhat like an AoE ShatterStone, its a good spike ability and ice a hex... you could always use a soul barbs with it...

Not sure if this would work:

Icy Veins (e)
Dark Pact
Blood Drinker
Jaundice Gaze
Vampiric Gaze
Shadow Strike
Vampiric Swarm
Rez Signet

Basically:
Shadow Strike, Icy Veins, Dark Pact, then Jaundice Gaze, then Blood Drinker, then Vampiric Gaze/Vampiric Swarm if needed. Use Dark Pact as often as possible.

SR: 16
BM: 13
The rest can be used to whatever, as all spells are Blood Magic and Icy Veins, and 1 rez signet.

Here's my build for an Icy Veins mobbing farm build.

Pofession: N/Me

Skills
Icy Veins
Signet Of Agony
Chillblains
Epidemic
Mark Of Pain
Channeling
Awaken The Blood or Wallow's Bite (incase you can't damage enough with Icy Veins)
Ressurection Signet

Stats: 12+1+3 Soul Reaping, 9+3 Blood Magic, 9+3 Curses

Armor and Runes: +Energy Armor (Cabalists or something else), 3x Superior Soul Reaping, 1x Superior Blood, 1x Superior Curses

Weaponry: +5 Energy Axe or Sword with a Poisoner's Hilt and a Pommel of Enchantment (20%) or a Totem Axe and the -50 HP Cesta

Monk skills and weaponry:

Mending
Healing Breeze
Protective Spirit
Balthazar's Aura or Essence Bond
Spell Breaker
Arcane Echo
Orison Of Healing
Rebirth

+5 Energy Axe or Sword with a Pommel of Enchanting (20%), Offhand with 20% half cast/20% half recharge on Divine Favor

well if you have minions or even a warrior for that fact you could combine it with mark of pain for some crazy AoE damage. That and just blood spiking skills would work too.

IMO, it's better the player acts as the physical damage dealer (see my weapon suggestion) because minions aren't controlable in the least. Plus, this skill, unless you can find a way to make it a HUGE spike, wouldn't be very well welcomed into teams because it'd be so slow acting.
